Well, you have a good point. But Photoshop can be fun becuase many people (even me) like to work with pictures.

@moriwenne Yes I agree, When I use the patch tool I then go to Edit, Fade Patch selection and I lower the opacity which returns the original texture and detail. Hope that helps.

I’m sorry but the info on this tutorial just isn’t enough. Yes you use the patch tool but then notice how it jus looks too smooth, like that area doesn’t belong, then how the transition looks just not right? Then you go put the clone tool here and there and what you get are areas that don’t combine well with the existing ones? The info shown is only useful for using the patch tool on areas that are isolated. You will not get this make to look realistically younger just by doing this, no sir.
